RBC’s 2018 Essay Scholarship Contest Winner

Posted On May 01, 2018

Reformation Bible College’s first president, Dr. R.C. Sproul, often referred to God as the source of all that is good, true, and beautiful, and for this year’s essay scholarship contest to win a full year of tuition, RBC challenged applicants to consider the relationship between theology and ethics and how it informs our definitions of truth, goodness, and beauty.

We received many thoughtful, well-written responses, and we are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018 Reformation Bible College essay contest is Meggie from California. Meggie’s essay persuasively handled the topic with theological, philosophical, and cultural exploration.

There were several other entries that deserve recognition. We have also awarded Walter from Alabama and Grace from Florida runner-up tuition scholarships for their excellent work.

To honor their effort, Alex from Ohio and Daniel from Pennsylvania have received honorable mention tuition scholarships.

The theme of the essay contest resonates with the vision of RBC, which is to educate the next generation for a new reformation. Dr. R.C. Sproul, further explains that, “Grounding college students in what is good, true, and beautiful is one of the most effective ways we can seize tomorrow’s ground for Christ today.”

We are grateful to all who entered the essay contest, and we congratulate our winner.
