Why I Chose RBC: Tony Beck

Several years ago, Tony sat at a Ligonier Ministries conference in Detroit, wondering what God would have him do with his life. Though he was successfully managing a company, leading his family, and serving in his church, he felt called to do something more.

During the conference, Tony stopped by the RBC booth and was surprised to learn that he could pursue an RBC education online. After finding out more about RBC’s online programs, he realized the need for more men to be formally educated to teach the things he was learning at the conference. He soon applied and began taking classes toward a Certificate in Theology.

“My experience at RBC online has been incredible,” Tony shared. “I really like how I can watch the lessons when I have time, since my schedule is so busy. I also really like being able to pause, rewind, and replay lessons as I take notes.”

In addition to his full-time career and his academic endeavors, Tony and his wife, Jessie, are blessed with four children.

“Even when I thought there was no way I could get my reading and assignments done, the Lord provided the perfect amount of time every time and has helped me to complete my Certificate in Theology in two years.”

Though the days have been busy, Tony says he is grateful for the knowledge he’s gained and the ways he’s been equipped for life-long ministry. He plans to continue his education at The Master’s University and eventually transition into full-time pastoral ministry.
